Building simple, decent, affordable housing for local families in need

Volunteer with Habitat

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

CONSTRUCTION:
Previous construction experience is appreciated, but NOT necessary! Please email our Volunteer Coordinator if you are interested in helping with the construction of our current new home! The current home is located in Ogden, KS.

BOARD & COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
We are currently seeking more members to join the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity Board & Committees. Please contact the Executive Director for more information.

ALUMINUM CAN PICK UP:
We need more volunteers that would be willing to help pick up aluminum cans at various pick up points around Manhattan and deliver cans to Howie's Recycling Center. Money from recycling goes directly toward new building projects.

Please contact the Executive Director at: director@manhattanareahabitat.org or our Volunteer Coordinator at: hfhvol@gmail.comfor more information on volunteering.

Volunteer at ReStore

Habitat for Humanity is more than just construction. Your expertise in pricing, retail management, heavy lifting, construction, and so many other areas is needed. Contact ReStore at restore@manhattanareahabitat.org or 785-317-9334 for more information!  You can also read more about ReStore opportunities on our ReStore page!

Recycle Your Aluminum Cans

Do you want to get rid of your aluminum cans and help contribute to the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity?

Take your aluminum cans to Howie's Recycling Center, 625 S. 10th Street in Manhattan. There is a large cardboard box with Habitat's name on it just inside.

Your help in recycling cans helps the environment and it helps our affiliate build houses!

We also have aluminum recycling containers at the K-State Union and the K-Mart parking lot!
